After all, if Borg defeats a Dominion that controls Alpha and Gamma cuadrants (and possibily Beta as well, Klingons and Romulans are based there), that would mean that 8472 would have to face, soon or later against a Milky Way totally dominated by the Borg, and 8472 hates Borg as any other. This could speed or slow Voyager's return to AQ, but any case there's still the option for Janeway to ask aid to 8472 (they were at good terms after In the flesh (VOY5).
So this Dominion victory is irrelevant to Borg vs 8472 war.Īfter that, Voyager would not contact with Starfleet because Dominion won. When they fought 8472 (end of 3rd season), they had not contacted yet with the Starfleet (if I'm not wrong). First we have to remember that Voyager's journey started before Dominion war.
